How scheduling works

Booking your days is effortless. Galenne runs on our own proprietary scheduling technology, built in-house — a smart calendar and fair-rotation algorithm that shares peak weekends and holidays equitably across all owners. With just four co-owners per boat, there’s plenty of time on the water: owners rarely use up all their days. Each owner gets guaranteed days every year (around 90 for a 1/4 share, 60 for a 1/6), all booked from your phone.

How many owners are there per boat?

Four. Each owner holds a 1/4 (25%) share through a dedicated LLC.

What does it cost?

A one-time 1/4 share plus a predictable monthly contribution that covers dockage, management, maintenance, insurance and administration.

Can I sell my share later?

Yes. You can resell your share anytime through our resale marketplace.

Do I need to operate the boat myself?

You can after a sea trial, or choose a licensed captain. Safety comes first.

How much can I use the boat, and how do I book it?

Your 1/4 share comes with a generous allocation of usage days per year, scheduled fairly with peak-season rotation so everyone gets prime dates. Because each boat has just four co-owners, there is plenty of availability — owners rarely use up all their days — and you book through our app in real time, even same-day if the boat is free.

New to boating? Do I need experience?

Not at all. Every owner starts out with a professional captain and can get certified to skipper solo, at their own pace, through the Galenne Captain’s Program.
