How scheduling works

Booking your days is effortless. Galenne runs on our own proprietary scheduling technology, built in-house — a smart calendar and fair-rotation algorithm that shares peak weekends and holidays equitably across all owners. With just four co-owners per boat, there’s plenty of time on the water — owners rarely use up their days. Each owner gets a set number of days every year (around 90 for a 1/4 share), all booked from your phone.

Reserve your share

A refundable $500 deposit holds your 25% while the other shares are filled.

Formation and purchase

Once all four shares are reserved, the LLC buys the boat and holds its title. You get the full itemized figures in writing before you commit.

Book & go boating

Reserve your days in the Galenne app. Drive it yourself after a Galenne sign-off, or book a captain. We handle everything else.

Sell when you want

When you're ready to move on, we coordinate the resale of your share.

Common questions

Is this a boat club or a timeshare?

No. You own a 25% membership interest in the LLC that holds the boat's title. It is real equity you can resell.

What does the monthly contribution cover?

Dockage, insurance, maintenance, cleaning, management and LLC admin. It is your share of the boat's operating budget. Fuel is billed separately, by use.

What do I pay upfront?

The share price, Galenne's acquisition fee, closing costs and applicable taxes. You get the full itemized figures in writing before you commit.

Can I drive the boat myself?

Yes, after training and a sign-off from a Galenne captain. You can also book a captain for any trip.

How do I book my days?

Each 25% share gets around 90 days a year, booked in the Galenne app. Weekends and holidays rotate fairly between the four owners, and you can book any free date, even the same day.

New to boating? How does the Captain's Program work?

No experience needed. Every owner starts out with a professional captain and gets certified to skipper solo, level by level and at their own pace, through the Galenne Captain’s Program.
